Overview
Morph Apply is an AI tool redesign completed as a team project (Team CTRL_Z) at Algonquin College in 2025.
My role and contributions
I led the design effort for this team project, responsible for:
- Creating the branding style guide -- defining the visual identity, colour palette, typography, and component styles
- Designing wireframes at multiple fidelity levels
- Building interactive prototypes in Figma for user testing and stakeholder review
- Creating presentation materials communicating design rationale and user research findings to stakeholders
Process
The project followed a structured UX process:
- Research -- Competitive analysis of existing AI tools, identifying pain points in application management workflows
- Branding -- Developed a cohesive visual identity that conveys professionalism and clarity
- Wireframing -- Iterated from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity layouts
- Prototyping -- Interactive Figma prototypes for key user flows
- Presentation -- Pitched the design to stakeholders with supporting research
